Twelve years from one hall in Dhaka to eight divisional heats.
2014
The first national competition runs in Dhaka with 9 skills and 120 competitors.
2016
Bangladesh is admitted as a member of WorldSkills International.
2018
Divisional heats begin in four divisions. Skills grow to 18.
2021
The cycle moves online where it can, and pauses where it cannot. Judge training goes remote and stays that way.
2023
Test projects start being written with employer panels. Skills reach 24.
2026
Thirty skills, eight divisions, 29% women. First full-duration national test projects agreed for 2027.
