Try-a-Skill for schools
Twenty minutes at a real bench, with a real trainer.
Most students have never held a welding torch, piped a rosette or wired a socket. Twenty minutes changes what they think the job is.
Where it runs
At the Skills Show during the national competition, and at partner institutes through the year. Sessions take groups of up to twenty, in rotations of three skills.
What it costs
Nothing. PPE and materials are provided. Schools cover their own transport.
