Enter competitors
Nominate trainees through the institute portal, or let them enter on their own. There is no fee and no quota. Most institutes enter between four and twelve competitors.
Host a heat
You provide the workshop, benches and power for one or two days. We bring the test project, the judges, the consumables and the marking. Host institutes get priority places on judge accreditation.
Send trainers for accreditation
Two days. Your trainers come back understanding exactly how their trainees will be marked, which changes how they teach the following term.
Use the test projects
Past test projects are released after each cycle and can be used freely in teaching. Ask the secretariat for the pack for your skill.
