Volunteer
Around 300 people run the competition week. Most of them are volunteers.
Roles we need
Judges. You need trade experience in one of the 30 skills and two days for accreditation. This is the role we are always short of, particularly in Rangpur and Mymensingh.
Workshop marshals. Keep the stand safe, manage materials, stop spectators walking into a live machine. No trade background needed.
Runners and stewards. Move paperwork and people. The least glamorous job and the one the week collapses without.
Interpreters. For international visitors and visiting experts, mostly English and occasionally Mandarin or Japanese.
What you get
Meals, a shirt, travel inside Dhaka, and a certificate. Not payment. Most volunteers come back.
